Alascia Jones is the Event Consultant at Rock The House Entertainment Group (RTH), a full-service production and entertainment company that produces more than 1,200 corporate, non-profit, social and educational events per year. Alascia is known as the “traffic controller” at RTH and is charged with providing high quality administrative assistance primarily to the Rock The House sales department, but also to the RTH team as a whole. Her foremost responsibility is to hold team members accountable to various event planning deadlines and protocols and to create all event binders to ensure that RTH clients receive the utmost concierge quality service at all times. She is the only one in the company with the opportunity to put her hands on every event.
Alascia joined the world of special events in 2007 as an ambitious, bright-eyed, college freshman at Kent State University (KSU) in Kent, Ohio. It was at this institution that her God-given talent and passion for event planning and special events was awakened. As a student leader being involved with several organizations during her four-year stay, Alascia was given the opportunity to create and execute numerous events and programs for a very diverse demographic.
Upon graduating from KSU in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Alascia went forward to pursue her place in the event industry in a more professional manner by attending the Tri-C Event Planning program in Beachwood, Ohio. This program afforded her many opportunities and even introduced her to her ILEA Cleveland family.
Alascia began as a student member of ILEA Cleveland and since completion of the event planning program has been a very active member of the Programs and Education committee and has recently become a Director of Special Projects on the Cleveland Chapter Board.
