Amy Van Duyne is the Executive Assistant to the CEO with Rock The House (RTH), a full-service production and entertainment company that produces more than 1,800 corporate, non-profit, social, and educational events a year. As part of the RTH Executive Leadership Team, Amy spends her days working closely with the CEO, coordinating details for events, assisting with the sales process, onsite at events, and improving business practices to exceed client expectations. She successfully completes critical aspects of deliverable tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead and strategize for the seven brands within the Rock The House family of companies.
In January 2017, Amy received her CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional) designation, a career achievement and bucket list item for the past 5 years.
Prior to working for RTH, Amy was the Director of Weddings and Events for Neil Leeson Decor Floral (NLDF), a full-service wedding and event design company, where she directed the coordination of floral, linens, lighting, draping, furniture, and accessories to create a complete and unique vision for every client.
Along with her certificate in Tourism, Convention and Event Management at Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI), Amy also has a floral certificate from C2K Floral Design School in Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Ashland University, Ohio.
When she’s not assisting with events, Amy loves the opportunity to provide leadership, guidance, and inspire those around her to build relationships. And if you need a hug, she’s got the best ones!
